ALMIRNODE FOCUS
A simple, mobile-first priority planner built around one idea: you can only meaningfully focus on a handful of things each week. Instead of endless to-do lists that grow faster than you can check them off, Focus asks you to choose what truly matters right now.
DO WHAT MATTERS
Most productivity tools try to help you do more. Focus helps you do what matters. The "This Week" focus is intentional — a week is long enough to make real progress, but short enough to stay accountable.
By limiting your "This Week" list to a maximum of 10 items, you are forced to prioritize. Everything else goes to "Maybe This Week" or "Inbox for Future" — acknowledged but not demanding your attention. This constraint is not a limitation; it is a feature. It mirrors how focused people actually get things done.
THIS WEEK
Your top priorities. A maximum of 10 items keeps you honest about what you can actually accomplish in the next seven days.
MAYBE THIS WEEK
Tasks on deck. If you finish your priorities or something shifts, these are ready to move up.
INBOX FOR FUTURE
A place to capture ideas and tasks without cluttering your week. Review them when you are ready to plan ahead.
WHY "THIS WEEK"?
Weekly planning hits a sweet spot. Daily lists create anxiety when things do not get done. Monthly goals feel distant and easy to postpone. A week gives you enough runway to tackle meaningful work while keeping urgency alive.
The weekly review built into Focus encourages you to reflect on what got done, re-prioritize what did not, and start fresh — without the guilt of an ever-growing backlog. It is not about doing everything. It is about doing the right things.
BUT THERE IS MORE
Besides tracking tasks across This Week, Maybe This Week, and Inbox for Future, Focus also lets you create notes organized into two categories:
- General Notes — keep adding notes and the most recent one stays at the top of the screen.
- Dashboard Notes — long-living notes perfect for lightweight project management.
All notes support color coding to help you visualize at a glance. For example, Dashboard Notes can track projects, with colors indicating status and whether things are on track. You can also clone a note into a task, or clone a task into a note when you want to keep it for archives.
